Insurance claim roof replacement — Malarkey Vista AR shingles in Brilliant Black — installed August 2026
This Papillion home needed a full roof replacement that was covered through the homeowner’s insurance claim. Goodlife Exteriors handled the claim with the homeowner and installed a complete Malarkey Vista AR roof in Brilliant Black in August 2026.

The homeowner’s roof needed replacement, and the damage qualified for an insurance claim. Papillion has seen several hail events in 2026, and many roofs in the city’s 1990s and 2000s subdivisions are reaching the end of their original shingles at the same time.
Goodlife inspected the roof, documented the damage, and worked with the homeowner through the claim so the approved scope matched what the roof actually needed.
Our crew tore the old roof off and installed Malarkey Vista AR shingles in Brilliant Black, a deep black color that fits the neighborhood’s siding and trim. The hips and ridges were capped, and new box vents and pipe flashing were installed.
Vista AR is Malarkey’s algae-resistant architectural shingle. As a Malarkey Certified Residential Contractor, Goodlife registers the manufacturer warranty after installation.
